The Cause and Effect that
‘There is Always Something Going On’
We all agree, when it comes to non-profit events in North Georgia, there is ‘always something going on.’ And while this is a good thing, what about when it poses an issue when organizations almost find they are ‘competing’ with each other for an event date or location? What if we could all know what each other were planning and when? And then on event day – did we plan everything to the tee or leave something out?
All of these questions, led to the creation of this project – a space for non-profit community events in Northeast Georgia. The project was undertaken by a portion of the inaugural class of ‘You Lead’ – a leadership class that is a part of the North Georgia Community Foundation. This group tackled these questions head-on to find solutions for the non-profits and community they care deeply about.
