NGCF Grant Programs
NGCF awards grants through our NGCF Opportunity Grant and NGCF Community Grant Programs. Those programs are funded by the NGCF Community Fund, a permanent resource of charitable funds.
We invite you to explore this page to learn more about our Grant Programs.
The NGCF Community Grants Program is an annual, application based, grants program which provides grants to nonprofit organizations across North Georgia who work to improve the quality of life in the community. Both operational and programmatic grants are funded.
Our 2024 Community Grant Cycle has CLOSED.
Recipients will be announced in December.
The NGCF Community Grant Application is located on our Grant Portal.
A portal account can be made and accessed at anytime,
but the application will only appear during the advertised time frame.
*Grant status will be updated after final decisions are made.*
The NGCF Opportunity Grant Programs is designed to identify and support nonprofits with the initiation of new services, or the expansion of current services, that focus on addressing key community issues. The funding enables these nonprofits to make a tangible difference in the areas that they serve, through initiatives they otherwise would not be able to.
An Opportunity Grant provides a nonprofit organization with funding for a new or expanding program that addresses specific key issues in North Georgia and promotes lasting change
Potential Opportunity Grant recipients are recommended by a group of community leaders from across North Georgia who identify local needs that nonprofits could address, if they had the resources to do so.
2024 Opportunity Grant Recipients will be announced by year-end. In the meantime, you are invited to view our previous recipients:
