GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Mar., 2018) – The North Georgia Community Foundation welcomed new board members in February, at their first meeting of the year. Among the new board members is a familiar face to Jackson County, Linda C. Foster.
After spending nine years gaining experience at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Linda began the Jackson County Family Connection in June of 2013, where she is the Executive Director. Linda is very familiar serving with non-profit boards and staying actively involved in the community. She currently volunteers her time with Legacy Youth Mentoring, the CLCP (Certified Literate Community Programs), The Jackson County Arts Council, and the Regional MHDDAD (Mental Health Development Disabilities and Addictive Diseases) Board. She is also an Elder at her church, Commerce Presbyterian Church, and the Chair of their Mission Council. Linda is a member of the Jefferson Area Business Association, Hoschton Business Alliance, and The Chamber of Commerce.
