Scholarship Fund Grants

The North Georgia Community Foundation administers a number of scholarships established by individual donors and organizations who wish to invest in the future by helping deserving students pursue higher education.  Each scholarship has its own specific purpose and eligibilty criteria, and awards vary in size depending on the amount available in each particular fund. Not all scholarships are available or awarded on an annual basis.

2017 Scholarship Application Procedures

The 2017 scholarship cycle is now open. To access the scholarships Apply Now through March 15, 2017 at 12 p.m.  Applicants must register on our web portal and select 'Scholarship Applicant' from the Portal Access list before accessing the scholarship applications.

If you are interested in applying for a specific scholarship, please see the list and brief descriptions below.  Unless noted otherwise,  scholarship applications use the same online application form. If you are eligible for multiple scholarships, you will not have to fill out the same information more than one time.  Your responses to the prompts on the common scholarship application will match you to all the scholarship funds to which you are eligible to apply.  Each individual fund will have one additional page of required questions or attachments. When you complete the additional page per scholarship, you will have submitted an application for each fund. Applications without the addendum page are not complete and will not be accepted.

If you need assistance or more information on any of the scholarship funds, please contact Megan Martin at the North Georgia Community Foundation office at (770) 535-7880 or mmartin@ngcf.org.

NGCF Board of Directors, staff and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.  Scholarship selection committee members and their immediate family members are also prohibited from applying.
